What A Prize of Arms Is About
Turpin used to be in the army. He was thrown out over black market dealings. Now he is planning a robbery. The target is an army payroll. The money is bound for units in the Middle East. The sum is two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. Turpin takes two men with him. One is Swavek, an explosives man. The other is Fenner, young, daring and on edge. They have an old army lorry. With it they pass themselves off as military police. The raid is to be done at night, in the dark and the freezing cold, from a screenplay by Kevin Kavanagh and Nicolas Roeg.
