An Insignificant Man

The documentary follows the founding of a political party in India. The party is called the Aam Aadmi Party. Its founder is Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal was a tax officer before. He went into politics after the protests against corruption. He brought colleagues from the same movement with him. Their target is the Delhi elections. Facing them are the two most established parties in the country. The campaign talks about water, electricity and graft. The camera goes into the party’s own meetings too. Arguments and disagreements are recorded. Meanwhile the team tries to hold on to its principles. Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla directed the hundred minute documentary, in which Manish Sisodia and Yogendra Yadav also appear. The Indian production was finished in 2016.
