Two boys named Bolek and Lolek set out to carry out the last will of Phileas Fogg. By that will, the inheritance goes to whoever repeats, exactly as he made it, the journey round the world that Fogg made. The condition is plain: only by means of transport in use in the nineteenth century. The two of them start out, and a bad character named Jeremiah comes after them to stop them. The film turns a classic idea of travel into an animated film for children. Every stop on the journey is built like a chapter of its own. The hundred and one minutes are used for a feature length animation. Ewa Złotowska and Jan Kociniak are among the voices in Stanisław Dülz and Władysław Nehrebecki’s Polish film, completed in 1977.
