What Auguri professore Is About
Professor Lipari teaches at a state school and is in the middle of a full existential collapse. He has no faith in himself and none in the idea that the world can be made even slightly better. He turns up, delivers the lesson, leaves, and privately concludes that he is useless to the students and to himself. Then a former pupil of his turns up at the same school, now a teacher, and starts to shift how he sees it. Riccardo Milani takes the shape of the Italian school comedy and puts exhaustion underneath it. Silvio Orlando carries the whole film as Lipari, sour and wounded and unable to quit, with Claudia Pandolfi opposite him.
