Band of Outsiders

Two young men and a woman who meet at an English class decide to steal money from the house where she lodges. The plan is amateurish from the start. The film uses the robbery as a pretext. The narrative gives more room to the three dancing in a cafe, running through the Louvre, and a minute of silence, and those became among the most quoted scenes in cinema. Jean-Luc Godard directed, with Anna Karina in the lead. It is adapted from an American crime novel and was shot quickly in Paris. Who it's for: those who like the playful side of the new wave.
