Being at Home with Claude

Yves and Claude are lovers. The relationship ends abruptly. Yves kills Claude while the two are making love. He is then taken into custody. The police inspector wants to know the reason from him. Yves begins to tell it. He goes back to the life he had with Claude. He describes how the relationship began. Then he describes how it came to this. The account moves along inside that interrogation room. The past and the questioning stand side by side as two separate times. The film runs crime and thriller together. Roy Dupuis and Jacques Godin take the leads, with Jean-François Pichette also in the cast, in Jean Beaudin’s Canadian film of 1992.
