Bellbird

Ross runs a small dairy farm in rural New Zealand. He is the third generation on the place. He has just lost his wife. He tells nobody about his grief. His son Bruce is not much suited to farming. Handling the animals turns his stomach. The work he really likes is at the town dump. There he collects discarded things and rebuilds them. Ross wants his son to take the farm on. Bruce does not want it. The two of them are inside the same loss. One lost his mother and the other his wife. Neither of them can talk about it. The people of the town gather around them. They try to help. Marshall Napier and Cohen Holloway appear in the ninety six minute film, a New Zealand production Hamish Bennett finished in 2019.
