Benvenuti in casa Gori

A house in Tuscany, Christmas Eve. The Gori family gathers: father, mother, two grown children, a daughter-in-law, relatives. At the table everything looks fine. Then someone says she is pregnant and who the father is does not come out. Then someone plays a videotape and what nobody was meant to see is on the screen. In the course of one day every arrangement in the family comes apart. The film is divided into five parts, and in each of them the balance at the table slips a little further. Alessandro Benvenuti directs the Italian comedy; ninety-six minutes. He adapted his own stage play and acts in it, with Athina Cenci, Carlo Monni and Massimo Ceccherini in the cast. Most of the actors come out of Tuscan theatre, and the speech is local too.
