Beyond the Mountains and Hills

David worked in the army for twenty seven years. In the end his service comes to a close. He returns home and stays with his family. He had been away from them for years. Now he has to get used to civilian life. The question of work comes first. Friends who left the army before him went into the private sector. David expects to find a place as a manager too. But it does not go the way he expected. The pace of the country has changed. Success and money come before everything. Competition has spread everywhere. Alon Pdut and Shiree Nadav-Naor take the leads, with Mili Eshet and Noam Imber also in the cast, in Eran Kolirin’s German and Israeli coproduction of 2017.
