Charlie Cranehill is an animal liberation activist. There is a warrant out for him on a charge of domestic terrorism. After a long time underground he comes out into the open. What he means to do is organise a nationwide action. Meanwhile his estranged father is also looking for him. The father runs a large company and wants to reach his son before the FBI does. The film tells the animal rights movement from inside, and the view it takes is that movement’s own. What it sets side by side is a son who broke with his family and a father who runs the kind of company his son acts against. Joaquin Pastor and Sheila Vand appear in Denis Hennelly’s American film of 2010, a hundred and five minutes long.
