Broken

Sang-hyun's sixteen-year-old daughter is raped and killed. When he learns what happened, who did it, and how little they will serve because of their age, he goes after them. The police are looking for him at the same time, so there are now two pursuits running at once. Adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel, and it keeps the novel's real question: whose justice is served by a law that protects offenders because they are minors? The film does not present revenge as a solution, and it also refuses to let the audience stand anywhere but where the father is standing. Jung Jae-young and Lee Sung-min star.
