What Brotherhood Is About

Lars has left the army, is looking for somewhere to put his anger, and joins a neo-Nazi group in Denmark. Inside the group he meets Jimmy. They cannot stand each other at first, then grudgingly respect each other, then become friends, and finally something else entirely. The problem is what that costs where they are. Nicolo Donato keeps the performance of masculinity inside a racist group and the desire it suppresses in the same scene. It excuses nobody and never offers the ideology as a reason. It is regarded as one of the more uncomfortable films Danish cinema has produced. Thure Lindhardt and David Dencik star.
