What Brothers Five Is About
The five sons of the Kao family are separated soon after they are born. The reason is the killing of their father by the master of Teng Lung Manor. The one who raises them leaves a mark on each of their hands so they can know each other later. The five grow up in different places, knowing nothing of what happened. A woman named Yen Lai is the one who brings them together. So the five brothers face the men at the manor as one. The film joins swordplay and fighting to a story about a family. The hundred and nine minutes are spread over a long period. Cheng Pei-Pei and Lo Lieh appear in Lo Wei’s Hong Kong film of 1970.
