Charlie And A Half

Charlie gets by running three-card monte. He passes himself off as a rich businessman. Miko is a boy growing up on the street. Instead of going to school he spends his time with Charlie. At the centre of the account is something Charlie is after. He wants to win the heart of Gila, a rich girl. But Gila’s parents have another plan. They want to marry her to an American millionaire. Gila is not much in favour of that match. The film runs comedy, romance and drama together. Yehuda Barkan and Ze’ev Revach take the leads, with Tuvia Tzafir and Arieh Elias also in the cast, in Boaz Davidson’s Israeli film of 1974.
