Years ago Natalya was held hostage in a siege. It happened in a theatre in Moscow. A great many people lost their lives. After that day the woman changed her life. She put a distance between herself and her family. Now she comes back to the same building. Her aim is to hold a memorial evening. She wants the hall set out as it was on the day. Some of the survivors come to the gathering. Each of them tells where they were that day. What they say does not always agree. Natalya has to speak about her own part as well. Her daughter and her husband are in the hall too. Natalya Pavlenkova and Olga Lapshina take the leads in Ivan I. Tverdovsky’s Estonian, Italian, Russian and British coproduction of 2020.
