What Crazy Racer Is About
A cyclist whose career is over, a corpse, two incompetent hitmen, con artists selling fake medicine, gangsters and police: all in one city, all crashing into each other's plans. Ning Hao weaves the crowd together out of one coincidence after another, and nobody can see their whole story except the audience. It is not a sequel to Crazy Stone but a relative of it, with the same director, the same lead in Huang Bo, and the same fast, unsentimental comic method. It was a large hit in China and established Ning Hao as one of the country's sharpest comedy directors.
