What Crazy Stone Is About
A very valuable piece of jade turns up on the grounds of a failing factory in Chongqing, and the factory puts it on show as its last chance. Three incompetent thieves, an internationally known professional whose luck never holds, and the factory's stubborn head of security all go after it at the same time. Ning Hao builds a black comedy in which every plan ruins somebody else's plan. It was made cheaply, became an unexpected hit in China, and introduced Huang Bo. Fast, and the regional accents are part of the joke.
