Demon of the Lute

The film is set in the world of martial arts. At the centre of the account is a six-string lute. The lute is no ordinary instrument. When it is played it can kill everyone within a certain range. Twenty years earlier two brothers fought over it. Now the lute has appeared again. Whoever holds it threatens the martial world. A task is given to a group of heroes. They are to find the lute and put a stop to it. For that they have to look for another weapon. What they seek is the fire bow and its arrows. The account is built on that search. Chin Siu-Ho and Kara Hui Ying-Hung take the leads, with Phillip Kwok Chui and Jason Pai Piao also in the cast, in Tang Tak-Cheung’s Hong Kong film of 1983.
