Balu is a gentle, well liked teacher. His brother Raju is quick to anger. During a fight things go too far. Balu dies. It is his own brother who caused it. From then on Raju keeps away from violence. In time he goes to Bangalore. There he meets a man who looks exactly like Balu. The man is called Shankar. Shankar lives on the wrong side of the law. Raju sets out to turn him around. Shankar is drawn to Sumathi, Balu’s cousin, who is still in mourning. When Sumathi is taken, the two of them act together to get her back. Rajinikanth and Prabhu appear in the hundred and fifty minute film, an Indian production S.P. Muthuraman finished in 1988.
