Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen

The documentary tells the early years of Elizabeth II. The account runs from her birth to her coronation. The material used came from a private archive. The archive is made of films the family shot themselves. This footage had never been shown before. The Queen gave permission to use the archive. The film was assembled from hundreds of reels. There are days from her childhood in it. There are the days of her engagement. There are the years of young motherhood. No interviews or expert commentary are used. What you hear as narration is her own voice. The story is told in her own words that way. Footage of Elizabeth II herself fills the seventy seven minute documentary, a British production Simon Finch finished in 2022.
