Hüseyin Badem, a clarinettist, sets off after his fiancée Firuzan when she leaves him and takes a nursing post in a village near Çanakkale. He has a ring with him and one aim, to win her back, but nothing on the journey goes as planned and the village does not take him in easily either. Hakan Algül made it as the sequel to the first film, with Ata Demirer again writing and starring. The humour comes out of the gap between the character's guilelessness and how the urban world around him sees it. Demet Akbağ plays Firuzan. It opened in January 2011, was the highest-grossing release in Turkey for three consecutive weeks and became one of the most watched Turkish films of its period. Who it is for: viewers who like Turkish comedy and Ata Demirer. Who it is not for: anyone who has not seen the first film, since the characters come from there.
