The Nightingale of Bursa

Cengiz sings in a tea garden in Bursa. His one ambition is to put out a cassette of his own. Meeting Taşkın opens a door: Taşkın's father Şerafettin is a well-known composer of the period and has a song. Cengiz borrows money from his older brother to buy it. But Taşkın spends the money. To keep hold of the only chance he has, Cengiz starts performing together with Taşkın and his sister Arzu. What follows is one piece of bad luck after another. Hakan Algül directs, with Ata Demirer as Cengiz, Cem Gelinoğlu as Taşkın and Özge Özaçar as Arzu. It runs two hours. It is a comedy set against the years when the cassette trade was everything.
