Fallen from Heaven

The film tells three stories together. In the first there is an elderly couple. The two of them used to own land. Now there is little left in their hands. Even so they want a marble tomb built for themselves. They are trying to put the money together for it. In the second story there is their former housekeeper. The woman has lost her sight. The couple give her a pig. The effort of fattening it pulls her household apart. In the third story there is a radio host. The man presents a relentlessly hopeful advice programme. One day he saves a young woman from death. Then he tries to put his own advice into practice. Gustavo Bueno and Marisol Palacios take the leads in Francisco J. Lombardi’s Peruvian and Spanish coproduction of 1990.
