Family Party

A celebration is being prepared at the family estate for a famous pianist's seventieth birthday. His second wife Anne has invited not only his three sons but also their mother, his former wife. The harder Anne works to keep the evening friendly, the more of the old accounts come out onto the table, and everyone turns out to remember things differently. A night that is already tense goes somewhere else entirely when one of the sons brings news with him. Lars Kraume shuts the celebration and the reckoning into the same room and lets nobody be entirely in the right, the father's authority as an artist included. Günther Maria Halmer, Hannelore Elsner and Lars Eidinger are in the cast.
