Richard Brown is a soldier who fought in Vietnam. He lives in Indonesia now. One day armed men come into his house. His wife Florinda and his son Bobby are killed in the attack. The boy was to have marked his birthday that day. Brown sets out after the men responsible. The trail leads to a businessman. The man is called Hawk and he is Brown’s rival. During the search Brown is caught. He is held and badly treated. Hawk’s secretary Julia is the one who frees him. She has an account of her own to settle.
