An Indian revenge film whose lead character is a fly. Nani is a young man in love with Bindu. Sudeep is a wealthy businessman who wants her too. He has Nani killed. Then the film reveals its actual idea: Nani is reborn as a fly. His memory is intact and he has one purpose. As a fly, he looks for a way to kill a man. All the pleasure comes from that limitation. The fly cannot speak or explain himself to anyone; all he has is being small and not giving up. The plans grow steadily more inventive. The visual work sits there too: the fly's point of view, its movement and its physical presence are built in computer animation, and it was considered advanced for its time. S. S. Rajamouli directed; one of the films he made before the Baahubali series. Sudeep plays the villain and carries the film; the state a man is reduced to while fighting a fly produces the comedy. It was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil and was a large commercial success in India. An extremely enjoyable production for anyone who likes mixed genres and unusual ideas. For a viewer looking for realism, the film recognises no rules and announces that at the start.
