An Indian film set around a university. Prithvi is one of the strongest gang leaders in the city. He wants the university's land; the college will close and his own business will go up in its place. On campus things are different. The students keep to themselves; nobody is after a large cause. Sandeep is popular at the college. He stays out of fights and bothers nobody. When the gang starts coming onto the campus the situation changes. An argument grows and an agreement is made between the two sides: the matter will be settled by a rugby match. If the students win, the college stays. From there the film becomes a story of building a team. Nobody knows the sport; training, learning the rules and work on endurance follow in turn. Sandeep's personal line runs alongside: a relationship with a girl at the college and the pressure the gang puts on him. The last section is given entirely to the match, with fighting and sport folded together. The idea is to build a pattern often used in Indian popular cinema around sport: the weaker side organising and beating the strong. Nithiin plays Sandeep and Pradeep Rawat the gang leader. For a viewer looking for realism, the match scenes care nothing for physical limits.
