Force of Habit

The film is built from separate stories that happen inside one day. Women stand at the centre of all of them. Hilla is on holiday and having a romantic day. Emmi is giving a party at her flat. Milja is on her way to school. A stranger comes up to each of the three. From that moment the day turns somewhere else. Emppu is a young actress. She is rehearsing the role of her life and is not at ease. Aleksi is an inexperienced prosecutor. He is preparing for a hearing in a hurry. Niina, the victim in the case, has waited years for this day. Miia is holding a company party. Her colleague Katja tells her that their boss made advances to her. The mood of the party changes at once. Krista Kosonen and Pirjo Lonka appear in the seventy five minute film, a Finnish production made by seven directors together and finished in 2019.
