Frogs & Toads

Max is a boy of six. He has set himself a task. He is to find frogspawn for his older brother. For that he sets out on the road. His neighbour Jesse comes with him. The two of them cut across the fields. On the way they come upon farms and animals. They pass through a wood as well. The journey is a great adventure for them. In the end they reach his grandmother’s house. The woman meets them at the door. There are pancakes on the table. The frogspawn they were after turns up there too. Nino den Brave and Whitney Franker take the leads in Simone van Dusseldorp’s Dutch film of 2009.
