Gabriel's Inferno: Part III

The closing part of the trilogy adapted from Sylvain Reynard's novel. It gathers up the outcome of Gabriel and Julia's relationship: the university investigation, Gabriel's past and the decision to make the relationship public. The Dante reference runs through the whole series; the first book is called Inferno and the characters' names are not accidental. It is a Passionflix production. Tosca Musk founded the company and its only business is adapting romance novels; the audience is readers who know the books. The film is made for them and does not try to explain itself to anyone else. The novel, over five hundred pages, was not compressed into one film but split into three. All three came out during 2020: May, July and November. The entire post-production was completed in the middle of the pandemic. Giulio Berruti plays Gabriel and Melanie Zanetti plays Julia. The closing chapter for readers of the books and anyone who has followed the series from the start. For someone arriving here without the first two films, nothing is recapped; this is not a production to watch on its own.
