Gabriel's Inferno: Part II

The series adapts Sylvain Reynard's erotic romance novels. At its centre is the relationship between Gabriel Emerson, a professor of Dante, and his student Julia, with the books built on references to the Divine Comedy. This second part follows the collision between the closeness established in the first film and both the university's rules and Gabriel's past. Tosca Musk directed and produced. Melanie Zanetti plays Julia and Giulio Berruti plays Gabriel. Shooting began in Syracuse, New York in November 2019. It was made for the streaming service Passionflix, with each book released in three parts. Part one of Gabriel's Inferno came out on 29 May 2020, part two on 31 July 2020 and part three on 19 November 2020. The series continued with Gabriel's Rapture and Gabriel's Redemption, nine parts in all. The origin of the books is worth noting: Reynard's texts were first written as Twilight fan fiction and later published commercially. Who it is for: readers of the books and anyone who follows romantic adaptations released in instalments. Who it is not for: newcomers. This is the second part; it neither recaps what came before nor stands as a whole on its own.
