Gunshot

During a demonstration the protesters and the security forces come up against each other. Afterwards eight bodies are brought to the morgue. The forensic doctor Yassin Al-Manstarli examines one of them and writes his report. The report says this: unlike the others, this person was shot at close range. When the report leaks to the press, the real trouble begins. The doctor watches his own professional finding turn into a political matter. The film is about who a finding belongs to and what anyone will do with it. The ninety six minutes are given to a single report. Ahmed Al Fishawy and Ruby appear in Karim El Shenawy’s Egyptian film, completed in 2018.
