What Here Come the Co-Eds Is About

Molly, her brother Slats and his friend Oliver work at a dance hall. Slats plants a made-up story in the paper saying Molly wants to go to a women's college. The story takes, and the school offers her a scholarship. Molly accepts on one condition: Slats and Oliver are to be given jobs there too. And the school is in debt. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are here again in Jean Yarbrough's comedy. The pattern is the same: two incompetent men bet on a game to save a school and get everything into a mess. Lon Chaney Jr. is also in the cast. There is a long routine with an oyster and a basketball game; both are counted among the pair's best remembered comic sequences.
