What Howard Zinn: You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train Is About
The documentary by Deb Ellis and Denis Mueller follows the life of the historian and activist Howard Zinn, known for A People's History of the United States, which tells American history through workers, enslaved people, native peoples and immigrants rather than statesmen. It builds his place in the civil rights movement and in antiwar action out of archive material, with Noam Chomsky, Alice Walker, Daniel Ellsberg and Marian Wright Edelman speaking as well.
