Fren works in the human resources department of a company. Her days go in interviews: recent graduates sit across from her, she asks them questions, takes notes, and writes the report on who will be hired. The working conditions at the company are hard and she knows it. At the same time she is one month pregnant and has told nobody. She has to decide whether to have the child, and the circumstances she is in do not make that easy. Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit writes and directs. It appeared in 2026. Nawapol is a known figure in independent Thai cinema whose films make formal experiments about data, working life and daily detail. The structure rests on the interviews; each is a section and the person across the table changes. The questions repeat, and that repetition sets the rhythm. The idea is this: the person deciding about someone else's life cannot decide about her own. The register is dry and distant; the narrative never breaks into feeling.
