I Love You

Du Xiaoju and Wang Yi are young people living in Beijing. Xiaoju is about to be married. Her fiancé is a friend of Wang Yi. Before the wedding there is an accident. The man dives into an empty pool while drunk and dies. Xiaoju is devastated. In those days she grows close to Wang Yi. The two of them marry before long. At the start of the marriage everything seems fine. But the arguing begins immediately. The quarrels keep getting harder. Jealousy and suspicion come between them. Neither can get free of the past. The film is adapted from a novel by Wang Shuo. Xu Jinglei and Tong Dawei appear in the ninety seven minute film, a Chinese production Zhang Yuan finished in 2002.
