What Climates Is About
İsa teaches architecture, Bahar works in television, and by the time we meet them on a hot beach their relationship is already over. They separate. İsa goes back to Istanbul and tries to pick up an old affair where he left it, then travels east in midwinter, into the snow, to where Bahar is filming. Ceylan plays İsa himself and his wife Ebru plays Bahar. His first film shot digitally, which is why the faces sit so uncomfortably close.
