What Imagine Dragons: Live in Vegas Is About
Imagine Dragons were formed in Las Vegas and spent years playing the city's dive bars and casino rooms. This concert film puts them on the largest stage that same city has, Allegiant Stadium. The set runs from the earliest material to the present, with sections in between about how the band got there. Matt Eastin's film is a little more than a straight concert recording: the city is inside it too. Both the glare of Vegas and the exhaustion of it come in between the songs. It will not convert anyone who dislikes the music, but the staging, the sound and the energy of the crowd are exactly what a concert film is for. It runs a hundred and twenty-two minutes.
