In No Great Hurry: 13 Lessons in Life with Saul Leiter

Saul Leiter was one of the pioneers of colour photography. He never chased that. Fame and success did not interest him. He preferred to drink his coffee and photograph as he liked. An enormous archive built up over the years. It is stacked high in his New York apartment. The documentary watches him there. Leiter is in his eighties by then. His name is only now going around the world. At the same time he has to clear the apartment. Every corner of it is attached to a memory. And there is a filmmaker who will not leave him alone, whom he keeps at arm’s length as best he can. Tomas Leach directed the seventy five minute documentary, a British production finished in 2014.
