Pablo is thirteen, quiet and alone, living in a small village in the Andalusian countryside after losing his father in an accident. His only friend is Julia, fifteen. A calm, well dressed stranger arrives in the village and takes an unusual interest in the boy. A fatherless child attaching himself blindly to this man is what carries him into a disaster that will mark the rest of his life. Ivan Noel sold his house to make his first film and worked almost entirely with non professionals; what he is describing is not a friendship but an abuse taking shape.
