What Incorrigible Liar Is About
Alexei Ivanovich Tyutyurin has been a barber for twenty years and is incapable of hurting anyone’s feelings. When a promotion to head of the salon comes within reach, a problem surfaces: at work he is known as a man who is always late and always telling tall stories. In fact he deceives nobody, because extraordinary things really do keep happening to him on the way in. Nobody believes a word of it, until the people from his stories start turning up at the shop one by one. Villen Azarov made this musical comedy for Mosfilm, Georgy Vitsin plays Tyutyurin, and the singer Edita Piekha appears as herself.
