What Inhale Is About
Paul Chaney is a district attorney in Los Angeles; his daughter Chloe is waiting for a lung transplant for a rare illness and is deteriorating before her turn comes. To save her he goes to Tijuana in Mexico and finds that an illegal route is open. At the end of that route is organ trafficking: for one person to live, something has been taken out of another person's body. Kormákur's film starts as a thriller and turns into a moral dead end. Showing whose bodies the trade runs on is its most uncomfortable achievement.
