Inside Men

Ahn Sang-goo, who runs errands for a political gang, tries to use a document in his hands for his own benefit and has his hand cut off and is thrown out. Chasing the same file is Woo Jang-hoon, a prosecutor with no power behind him. The two despise each other and want to bring down the same men. Woo Min-ho adapted Yoon Tae-ho's abandoned webcomic, whose ending was never written, so the film built its own. The story shows the traffic between the press, capital and politics from inside a personal revenge plot. Lee Byung-hun and Cho Seung-woo lead. Despite an adult rating it became one of the most watched Korean films of its year, and a three-hour extended version was released separately. Who it is for: viewers who like Korean political thrillers and stories about corruption. Who it is not for: anyone uncomfortable with violence shown in detail.
