International Lady

Carla Nillson is a well known singer. She performs on stage and on the radio. The intelligence services of two countries are watching her. The suspicion is espionage. Two men are keeping an eye on her. One is an American agent called Tim Hanley. He presents himself as a lawyer at the embassy in London. The other is Reggie Oliver of Scotland Yard. He is posing as a music critic. The three of them first meet in London. Then their paths cross in Lisbon. They meet last in New York. Carla is singing on the radio there. Each of the men keeps up his own part. George Brent and Ilona Massey appear in the hundred and two minute film, an American production Tim Whelan finished in 1941.
