It's Nifty in the Navy

At the centre of the film are three young fishermen. They are called Svend, Knud and Valdemar. Together they have bought a new cutter. But the boat is not paid off yet. So they have to keep working. The days at sea are one part of the account. Military service is waiting for the three of them as well. Until now they had managed to get deferments. But one day the call comes. All three are taken into the navy. So the boat and the debt are left behind. The days in service go on as comedy. Dirch Passer and Ghita Nørby take the leads, with Ove Sprogøe also in the cast, in Finn Henriksen’s Danish film of 1965.
