Jeans Blues: No Future

Hijiriko runs from the bar where she works, taking the money. She also takes a car that is not hers. At the same time Jiro Katagiri is out there. Katagiri makes off with his gang’s takings. The gang does not let that pass. The two runaways meet after a crash. They set out together in another stolen car. The police take an interest in the crimes. The gang is looking for Katagiri as well. The pair have to run the length of Japan. Their means grow thinner along the road. They come to depend on each other. The film joins crime with a road story. The hard style of seventies cinema shows in the scenes. Meiko Kaji and Tsunehiko Watase appear in the ninety one minute film, a Japanese production Sadao Nakajima finished in 1974.
