JFK: What The Doctors Saw

On the twenty second of November 1963 President Kennedy was shot in Dallas. He was rushed to Parkland Hospital. A group of doctors worked on him in the emergency room. The effort came to nothing. The documentary talks to seven of those doctors. The interviews were recorded years later. The doctors describe what they saw that day. What they dwell on is the wound in the throat. To them it looked like an entrance wound. That assessment does not match the official finding. The official investigations concluded the shots came from behind. The film also questions the experience of the doctors who conducted the autopsy. The account builds a case against the official version. It should be watched as a film with a position of its own. The seven Parkland doctors speak in the ninety two minute documentary, a British and American co-production Barbara Shearer finished in 2023.
