Jim Queen

A virus called Heterosis spreads through Paris and turns gay men straight. Jim, the undisputed king of the gym, becomes within days a man cast out of the centre of his own scene, and sets off to find a cure. Nicolas Athané and Marco Nguyen made their first feature as adult animation and keep the satire wide, striking homophobia and the gay community's own hierarchy of bodies and status at the same time. The voice cast includes François Sagat, Philippe Katerine and Shirley Souagnon. It played in the Midnight Screenings section at Cannes in 2026 and opened in France in June 2026. It runs eighty-five minutes and the pace never drops. Who it is for: viewers who like adult animation and satire without limits. Who it is not for: anyone troubled by explicit sex and coarse humour.
