Shafi's 2002 Malayalam film follows Ramankutty, who works as a wedding planner. He is about to marry Gauri and both families approve. Then an astrologer makes a prediction about his family and everything is thrown into confusion. The humour comes from the prediction being taken seriously. Nobody questions whether it is true; everyone begins acting accordingly, and those actions bring the prediction closer to being true on their own. The narrative shows this without stating it. Dileep leads and works with the crowded supporting ensemble of Malayalam comedy of the period.
