What Kebab Connection Is About

Ibo lives in Hamburg, wants to make the first German kung fu film, and pays his way shooting commercials for his uncle's kebab shop. When his German girlfriend Titzie turns out to be pregnant, both of them are pushed into something neither is ready for, and his father throws him out for fathering a child with a German girl. A permanent feud between the kebab shop and the Greek taverna across the street fills in the background. Fatih Akın is among the screenwriters, working from a story he had told the producer years before.
